Who knows you?

Social Media is an important aspect of growing your own brand, but what social media is the most helpful? Which platform is the best suited for your goals? This is a hard question that everyone using social media has to answer for themselves. Whether you are looking for a personal or professional outlet, there is a social media answer. Most of us are familiar with the personal social media platforms that are available but may be ignorant to the professional side of social media. There are many professional platforms that can help you further your brand but which ones will work for you. I have found that  Linkedln is one of, if not the leading contender for the most popular professional social media platform. I set up a Linkedln account this week. I found it very easy to navigate and even easier to connect with others. The saying used to be "Its not what you know, its who you know" in our world today it has transitioned to "its not who you know, its who knows you"
Anything you can do, I can do to! Fall is an amazing time of year not only because I simply love the weather and the comfort food,  but it is the best time of year to decorate! I love seeing how people decorate differently. Everyone has their own taste and style which I really appreciate and enjoy. I often see items that I love either at someone's house or in a retail shop that I want to add to my own collection of seasonal décor only to find out there is no possible way I am going to spend that much money on something that I don't need. So, with that being said I believe where there is a will. there is a way! I found some wooden stars that I loved and could be used for more that one holiday ( I love dual purpose décor). When I looked them up online I found a ridiculous price attached to them. Therefore I went to my "go to" solution of YouTube DIY'ers. YouTube is a great platform and useful tool for the projects and ideas I have or want to know more about. It
What or Who Inspires You? Happy Sunday! The weather is BEAUTIFUL in Northwest Arkansas this morning. I hope everyone is enjoying today. I had a very creatively productive Saturday...I will be posting photos of the fun. I am still getting used to blogging so I don't have step by step photos. I will get better!  I want to share some of the blogs that inspire me and My Cre8tive Mind blog. Each of theses bloggers speak to me and how I want to present myself and my personal brand. Surround yourself with people that reflect who you want to be and how you want to feel, energies are contagious.- Rachel Wolchin. Here we go! Rogue Engineer - This husband and wife team have DIY figured out. I love the way their blog is set up, how they shoot their videos and their style of decor. I really enjoy reading their posts and seeing what they are up to. I also like how they aren't afraid to show their mistakes. Anyone that has ever DIYed anything knows that its not always easy and it rar

The Cre8tor

Hello, My name is Amy Lamar. I am momma, student, and the general utility player in our family. My amazing husband has a grown up job and attends school so I get to raise our children and be CRE8IVE in my spare time, which I have very little of. We live in the south and love it here. To be specific Fayetteville Arkansas is the place we call home. I am a first time blogger so we will see how this goes. Wish me luck!                                                        Creativity is the way I share my soul with the world                                                                   -Brene Brown- This quote sums up my perspective quite perfectly. I have always had a creative mind. It's like I see the world in a completely different way than most people. I am always busy: imagining, forming, making, assembling, producing,  and creating things from  cakes to furniture. This blog will take you on a journey with My Cre8ive Mind. From my pro
